Warm welcome to participate in the 51st NES Conference, 23-25 October 2022 in Uppsala, Sweden!

The NES 2022 Conference invites you to explore and discuss the role of ergonomics and HF/E professionals in an increasingly complex and unpredictable world.

Contributions are accepted from researchers, practitioners, and policy makers. We expect a wide participation from all over the world. Welcome to join the discussions and knowledge sharing.

The NES 2022 Conference is arranged by the Swedish Ergonomics and Human factors Society (EHSS), together with Uppsala University.

EHSS is a federated member of The Nordic Ergonomics and Human Factors Society (NES) that was founded in 1969 and represents the professional interest of about 1400 members from the five Nordic countries. NES is a member of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).

Call for papers

We welcome submissions of scientific posters and papers, practitioners reports as well proposals for special sessions and workshops. For further details, see our call for papers, where you will also find a link to submit your work. If you don’t have an EasyChair account yet, you will be prompted to create one.

15 February 2022: Deadline for abstract submission for posters and papers as well as practitioners reports

15 February 2022: Deadline for submission of proposals for special sessions and workshops.

15 March 2022: Notification of review outcome

15 May 2022: Deadline for full papers, revised abstracts and practitioners reports

15 June 2022: Notification of review outcome

15 July 2022: Deadline for final papers
